Tournament Winners 2007-2008

Established on February 6th 1924, the club with ample parking facilities is located at 1040 Calumet Street off North Fort Harrison two miles north of downtown Clearwater and twenty miles west of Tampa in Florida.
Our city is progressive and famous for having one of the top ten beaches in the USA. The sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico are renowned for their spectacular beauty.
We play on two greens comprising twenty-two [14 + 8] hard surface rinks where we bowl socially on Monday through Saturday in the morning. Afternoon and evening bowling is available when demand is sufficient and floodlights supplement the natural light when necessary.
Green speed is between twelve & fifteen seconds depending on moisture content.
Open tournaments are held on Saturdays and club tournaments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
We are fortunate in having a very spacious clubhouse where we hold social activities, many of which are holiday related. These events may include cooked lunches, barbecues, potluck dishes and light refreshments. Our members also enjoy Bingo evenings, card games and dances that are held regularly on our premises.
We welcome prospective new members, daily bowlers, visitors and spectators. Regular clothes are acceptable for social bowling; but for tournaments, full whites or white pants /shorts with team colored shirts are necessary.
Lessons are available for a small fee; not only to teach newcomers how to bowl, but also for them to learn the etiquette that is essential for an enjoyable game. All you need to get started is flat-soled shoes.
